Mom Gets Dramatic Makeover To Attend Daughter's Wedding

Back in 2015, one woman decided to freshen up her look in time for her daughter's wedding that was nearing and turned to "The Makeover Guy" to make this happen.

Weddings are a happy occasion. Besides the bride and groom, the people who'd want to make absolutely sure that they look their best would be their parents. And this bride-to-be's mom is no exception!

In 2015, this woman went to none other than Christopher Hopkins aka The Makeover Guy, to give new life to her tresses and her face a new makeup look. "How would you like to look and feel?" asked one of Hopkins' employees. "Really good about myself," she replied. And that's exactly what she got.

As per The Makeover Guy in the video description, he said: "This one was special and it was quieter in the salon. I wanted to show how pretty this woman is, but she could not see it."

Hopkins starts by asking the woman what her natural hair color is, and trying to match different shades of blonde and light brown with her skin tone. After discussing which color and hair length would look best on her, Hopkins gets straight to work.

While waiting for the new hair color to set, one of Hopkins' makeup girls start dolling the woman's face. She shares that she used an eyebrow pencil with the exact same shade of the woman's soon-to-be hair color, "taupe," a color which she says is a really good color for most blondes.

The scene cuts to the woman's two sisters who have been waiting in anticipation for the reveal. "Okay, drumroll!" says the camera guy before proceeding to make drumroll noises. "Nice, I like it," says one of the sisters. The crew asks for more reaction but the other sister replies saying that "(they're) calm people."

"I like the hair, it's nice even though it's shorter," a sister commented.

"It's not blonde enough," she jokes in response to being asked what she thinks her husband's reaction would be.

"Do you think you're going to be able to achieve this on your own?" the camera guy asks the woman who now looks 20 years younger. "Pretty much," she replies.

The makeup complemented her natural features so beautifully that she still looks like herself, just a fresher and more put-together version! It's amazing how a simple makeover can make you look decades younger in just a few hours!

With over 1.5 million views on YouTube, this is one of Hopkin’s most-watched makeovers for good reason. Now she's ready to recreate this look for the day of her daughter's wedding!
