Coming home after a tour overseas is a sweet time for those who serve and the ones they leave behind.

This reunion between a Marine and his two-year-old daughter is especially heart-warming and tear-jerking. Take a look for yourself.

Two beautiful daughters are blessings shared by Sergeant Brenden Taylor and his wife Amanda. The older daughter is 2 1/2 years old, while the younger one has just turned one.

Sergeant Taylor began his deployment only nine months after the birth of his second daughter.

As every military family knows, it's difficult having husband and dad away from home. Mom and the kids started counting down the days until Sgt. Taylor would come home to them again

After Brenden deployed in February of last year, Amanda was understandably nervous about the deployment, but her most pressing concern was whether her two-year-old daughter would recognize her dad when he got back home. Or if she would be mad at him for going away for so long.

Her daughter started missing her dad only two hours after he left. Added to a stomach bug and not feeling good, it was not a good day.

Fortunately, Amanda was able to keep everyone feeling good. She decided to create a game to help her daughter keep track of how long it was before daddy came home. Her game helped her little girl get through the deployment.

When Sgt. Taylor was ready to come home after 175 days deployed, Amanda wanted to capture the special reunion. She hired a professional photographer to film the reunion.

As the Marines arrived by bus, the joy and excitement spread through the waiting family members' faces. The two-year-old knew who her dad was as soon as she saw his face on the bus. She started yelling for him to get off the bus.

Just as soon as Brenden's feet touched the ground, his daughter came running right into his arms. It's one of those moments that will bring tears. The hug the entire family shared afterwards is stunning

Amanda commented that she had never witnessed such a smile from Brenden that he showed that day. Love never ends, even though deployments do. The photographer who shot the reunion, Maddie Shortt, says such reunions are the ones she always remembers. Brenden was away 175 days and missed the ones he loved. Welcome home, Brenden!

It's a family reunion you shouldn't miss.
