  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup of water

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray your Bundt pan with cooking spray, or spread butter in the pan and coat the butter with flour. This keeps the cake from sticking during baking.
  • Combine the cake mix and brownie mix, along with the water, eggs, and oil in a mixing bowl. Mix it for a couple of minutes to make sure that the batter is as smooth as possible.
  • Pour the batter in the Bundt pan and bake for about 50 minutes. Once the cake is done, stick a toothpick in it to make sure the batter is fully cooked. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then turn it over on a cooling rack and let the cake sit for half an hour.
  • Once the cake is done, you can start on your ganache. Pour the heavy whipping cream into a microwave-safe bowl for about two minutes or until the cream comes to a boil.
  • Pour the chocolate chips into the warm whipping cream. Let the mixture sit for about five minutes. If you start to see froth, don't worry; this is normal. Whisk the chocolate chips and cream until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour the ganache onto the cake. Once the ganache is cooled, you're ready to serve the cake!

This cake is very simple to make, but looks elegant and is very decadent. Mixing the cake and brownie mixes makes the cake soft and spongy and the ganache takes the dessert to another level, which makes it great for holidays, birthdays and other special occasions. You can also experiment with cake and brownie mixes to find the one you like best. And remember, the higher the quality of chocolate you use, the better the cake will be.

After you try this cake and serve it to your loved ones, let us know how it turns out!
