When celebrity couples are put into the spotlight so much, it can be hard to move on without people asking questions. Many celebrities create songs about their famous exes or even do interviews detailing why they broke up. For Miranda Lambert, her breakup with ex Blake Shelton has been front page news in the media for years. And now, fans are thinking that she may have referenced the breakup in her newest performance at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards – while Blake was in the audience!

But what exactly happened during Miranda’s performance? During the routine filled with some of her greatest hit songs, Miranda changed a line in her track ‘Little Red Wagon,’ and the implications are not so subtle! Miranda belted out the words ‘I got the hell out of Oklahoma,’ and many fans are thinking that this is a reference to Blake Shelton’s hometown in Oklahoma, the same place that the couple lived in while they were married!

But this isn’t the first time that fans caught Miranda talking about her breakup with Blake. During the same award show last year, Miranda won song of the year. During her acceptance speech, she thanked the fans and the audience for going through her broken heart with her.

Although things seem rough between Miranda and her ex Blake, the two have moved on and gone their separate ways with new partners after their four-year-long marriage. Blake entered a very public relationship with superstar Gwen Stefani quickly after his marriage broke up, and they’ve been bonded together as a power couple for four years since then.

Miranda is a newlywed to her husband Brendan McLoughlin, and their first public appearance was during the ACM red carpet the same night of her performance! Although breakups can be tough, we wish Blake and Miranda all the best in their new relationships. Clearly, their careers aren't suffering, as they're both finding more and more success as the years go on!
