Teachers are supposed to be among the most caring and accepting of professionals. After all, their positive examples and encouragement can make a huge impact on the next generation. Perhaps that's what makes an incident involving a white middle school teacher hurling a racial slur and angrily ranting at a black parent so disturbing.

This shocking situation unfolded last Thursday in the school parking lot. The teacher, who accidentally hit the parent's car with her vehicle, was captured on video getting extremely upset.

Rasheed Noel began filming the incident a video he later posted to his facebook page as the teacher said, "you're probably on welfare."

Noel responded by saying that he had a six-figure income, owned a large home, and was not on welfare. His video has now garnered over 325,000 views in the last week. Noel said alongside his video, "She hits my car and acts like this on school property in front of students and staff."

The teacher's identity has not been released to the public, but she is known to teach at Drexel Hill Middle School in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.

Noel brought up his race as the reason for the teacher's unfounded assumptions about his income and attitude. The teacher, incredibly, agreed with him, admitting that it was because Noel is black.

"That's right, [it is] because you're black," the teacher can be heard saying in the video. "Always looking to milk the system. And you see me, a white woman, so you think I got money."

She ended the conversation by swearing at Noel and calling him the N-word.

Noel decided to take his evidence of the teacher's unprofessional behavior to the school administration. They decided to put the teacher on leave and launch an investigation, however, the school commented that the teacher's behavior was "deeply troubling."

Noel said of the school's action, "I commend the Upper Darby school district for taking quick action on this teacher at Drexel Hill Middle School, they are doing everything in their power to make sure people like this teacher become nonexistent in any school."
