Michael Douglas recently opened up getting older and spending time with his family. He spoke about his 19-year-old son Dylan’s antics while being interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres. He also talked about how it makes him feel good being married to Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Michael Douglas recently turned 75-years-old on the same day his wife turned 50-years-old. Although the couple have a 25 year age gap, Douglas revealed to Ellen, “Having a younger bride [Catherine Zeta-Jones] makes me feel good on one side, and I got the old man [father Kirk Douglas] on the other side with still a full head of hair,” Douglas said.

“So it’s all good, you know, you can’t be an idiot about it.” Michael Douglas’ father, Kirk is 102-years-old and will be turning 103 in December of this year.

While opening up about his children, Douglas started talking about his 19-year-old son Dylan. Ellen quipped, “He’s a daredevil.” She then showed the audience a video of Dylan jumping off a huge cliff in Sicily.

Douglas offered a reason why Dylan likes doing dare devilish things saying, “I remember that age. It’s a hormonal thing, I think, for boys, testing yourself…I just think it — you know, what I did not like is he was the first one to jump.”

The actor didn’t like that his son was the first one to test out the jump out of all his friends. “I said, ‘Don’t be the first one to jump!' Let a couple other people go off first to test it."

Douglas had posted a video on Instagram in August of Dylan skydiving captioning the clip,  “No I wasn’t the Cameraman!” Dylan also shared another video of him taking the courageous leap out of the plane as he wrote next to the video, “Don’t tell mom…” However, Catherine-Zeta Jones, Dylan’s mom, made sure he knew that she just saw the video by commenting, “Mom just found out😩.”
