According to CBSN Minessota, Bell surprised commuters traveling on the 3-route by sporting rhinestone-studded regalia.

The bus-driver did in honor of what would have been Elvis’ 85th birthday.

“It’s his birthday, and I’d like to honor him for all the wonderful songs and music he brought to the world, and that’s why I wear this suit, I play his songs,” said Bell.

Bell also serenaded some Elvis classics to the commuters on board his bus.

“He’s not dressed like Elvis every day, but he’s got that persona, that kind of … big personality, likes his job, takes it seriously, but likes to have fun, and makes sure our customers do as well,” Deputy Chief Operation Officer For Metro Transit Brian Funk said.

When Bell isn’t driving the Metro Transit bus, he sings from the Metro Transit All Stars.

"I'm a singer, I'm a songwriter," Bell tells Fox News. "I play guitar, rhythm, lead, I do it all. I'm your full-service rock and roll musician and I can drive a bus!"

Elvis was born on January 8, 1935 in Missisipi and died in 1977 from Cardiac arrest at the age of 42.
