Stacie Cellitti, a super metalhead, gets transformed into a "pinup girl" with the help of her best friend Jessie in an episode of Truly's Hooked On The Look.

When we talk about heavy metal fashion, we mean the style of clothing, body modification, make-up, hairstyle, etc to be adopted by fans of heavy metal music or, as one might call them: metalheads or headbangers.  Even though the style has altered since the 1970s, some elements are still the same, including black clothes, long hair and leather jackets.

When you meet Stacie and Jessie for the first time, you would never even a million years guess that they have been best friends for years. Stacie Cellitti, a New Yorker living in Winter Springs, Florida with her husband Josh, is a metalhead. How metal, you ask? Well, together with her husband, Stacie only dresses in black. She rocks a mohawk and is inked all over. In fact, her entire left arm is tattooed black. She has several body modifications including cheek piercings and oh, a split tongue. So yeah, you could say she's pretty darn metal.

In comes Jessie Leigh. She describes herself as "The Pinup Bartender" on her Instagram account, and is the polar opposite of Stacie, at least in terms of style. The retro pin-up girl look is experiencing an impressive comeback from the 1940s to our time today. In the early 40s to 80s the look was made popular by burlesque models. Back then, pictures of so-called pin-up models could be found everywhere: on walls, lamp posts, and even on cigarette boxes. Pin-up fashion combines burlesque, rockabilly, and classic Hollywood glamour when it comes to clothing, hairdos, make-up, shoes, and accessories.

As a pinup enthusiast, you can imagine what Jessies's style is like, dramatic feminine makeup, vintage-inspired dresses, and long curly hair. Jessie had one mission and one mission only: To turn Stacie's punk into pinup. Even though she still can't believe that her best friend is finally letting Jessie transform her.

After finding the perfect dress and getting her hair all wavy and mermaid-like—which, by the way, Stacie describes as looking like "a pretty cocker spaniel,"—Jessie proceeds to lather on makeup to coverup Stacie's many tattoos, applying foundation even on her entire arm. The makeup process seemed to take a lot longer than finding the dress and getting her hair done combined, but with Jessie's expertise, you just know it's going to be worth it.

After the makeover Stacie looks worlds apart from when she first appeared in the episode. The removal of her white-colored contact lenses has revealed sweet doe-like eyes, and it's really accentuated with her overall now-feminine look.

Best friend Jessie has no idea how Stacie is going to react upon seeing her new look. While a part of her feels like she's going to flip out and absolutely hate it, she's still hoping that metalhead Stacie will at least like some of it and maybe take it with her in the end.

When Stacie first looks at herself in the mirror, she notes how different she looks and comments that she now looks more like her best friend instead of herself. Stacie loves her new hair which she calls very pretty and admits liking the dress even though she says she will probably never wear it again as it is just not her style. However, Stacie dislikes the fact that all her tattoos are covered up and still feels a little bit uncomfortable in her skin.

Now, it's time to surprise Josh! He was only aware that Stacie was getting a makeover and was excited to see his wife getting a more girly look, but he had no idea which direction it would be going. When Stacie taps Josh on his shoulder to have him turn around and see her new look, it's safe to say he is nothing less than surprised!

The moment he sees his wife, he expresses how much he loves the look and reveals that Stacie looks so drastically different, he probably wouldn't have recognized her if he hadn't known it was her coming up behind him. His favorite part of Stacie's new pin-up look is the yellow dress.
