Getting a song stuck in your head can be tiresome, but when a cockatiel gets a song stuck in their end it makes for great entertainment. A cockatiel owner uploaded a video of his pet bird whistling to the tune of Another One Bites the Dust, by Queen.

The singer, Freddie Mercury passed away, making the song tribute from the cockatiel even more special and entertaining to watch.

In the video, the beautiful bird is actually resting on the outstretched arm of a Queen doll. The two make quite the pair as Mercury is wearing a bright yellow coat, matching the bird. The owner claims that Freddie is his bird's hero in the title, but we wonder if the doll's outstretched arm doesn't just fit the bill for a perfect resting spot.

Known as Mayacan, the cockatiel, loves to sing and this tune is among her favorites. The video itself is a compilation of several instances of Mayacan singing out the song throughout various days. According to her owner, Mayacan can sing other melodies, but Another One Bites the Dust and Radio Gaga seem to be the two it likes.

The video of Mayacan has gone viral and folks can't get enough of this crowd favorite. Rarely do birds sing through several songs, preferring to learn and sing a couple different tunes throughout the course of their lifetime.

The interesting part of this is Mayacan's ability to change the way in which she sings the original tune, changing tempo and melody as she pleases.

The natural musicality of birds is always interesting to witness, both in the wild and captivity. Tell us what you think of this singing Cockatiel below. Pass this article on to your friends and family to see what they think.
