In an interview on Ellen back in 2018, McCarthy, 50, said she first met Falcone, 47, in Los Angeles back in the 1980s when the two were both enrolled in a comedy class.
She recalled being smitten as he did a skit about "an inmate that really liked his new roommate."

"I immediately was like, 'Oh, he's strange. I like him. And we were friends from, like, day one," she added.

Falcone also took to Instagram to dedicate a sweet tribute to his wife, with whom he shares two daughters. He wrote:

"Two things: A) I’m so lucky and grateful to be married to such a lovely, smart, kind and wonderful person B) why is there a skunk in the picture? Happy fifteenth Anniversary, Mooch! Here’s to 500 more (I am assuming we will kinda be robots for 400 of those years)."

In 2013, McCarthy told More magazine that she "got hit with the lucky stick with Ben." Sharing the exact sentiments, Ben added that they "got hit with the same lucky stick." "From the very first time we spoke, we were on the same page," he said.

"We love each other, respect each other, and try not to sweat the small stuff. And we really make each other laugh."

According to Forbes, McCarthy is the fourth-highest paid actress of 2020, raking in $25 million. She will play Ursula in the upcoming movie The Little Mermaid.
