Melania Trump Channels Jackie Kennedy During Trump Inauguration

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Melania Trump knows what that's about. At President Trump's inauguration in 2017, the First Lady wore a blue outfit that was almost identical to that of former First Lady Jackie Kennedy's dress. 

On inauguration day, Melania Trump wore a pale blue Ralph Lauren dress. It was double-faced with a jacket and sleeves are worn over a matching knee-length dress. The outfit drew comparisons to that of Jackie Kennedy's outfit on inauguration day in 1961.

Jackie Kennedy wore a similar blue dress which was designed American by Oleg Cassini. Jackie, too, had a coordinating coat and cozy dress for the special event.  The coat had a round neckline and two large buttons. 

The look of Melania Trump's inauguration dress is near identical to that of another dress Jackie Kennedy wore. 

According to Getty, In the photograph, Jackie is launching a Heart Fund campaign and posing in the white house with 6-year-old identical twins who underwent identical heart operations. "The girls presented the First Lady with valentines of rosebuds and in return received gold heart lockets as gifts from the President." 

Although Jackie's dress is pink to Melania's blue the necklines are the exact same.
