One very excited Royal fan just received the voicemail of a lifetime: Aleyna Genc,14, from the Nottingham Academy got a personal message from Meghan Markle, delivered to her by Prince Harry himself.
The teenager, who has reportedly had multiple brain surgeries to remove a tumor, has been a long-time fan of the Duchess, having written multiple letters to her in the last two years.
This Thursday, Prince Harry paid a visit to a Nottingham school to mark World Mental Health Day. According to the Daily Mail, the Duke of Sussex was warmly welcomed by students as well as their therapy dog, Barney.
The Prince’s visit had him mingling with students and joining an EPIC nurture session, where he discussed mental health and emotional well-being.

One student, Aleyna Genc, got a special surprise from the Duke. According to the Telegraph, the 14-year-old had been writing letters to Meghan Markle for the last two years, as she received treatment for a brain tumor.
“I just sent her a letter because she made a speech and that was the one that really inspired me - her UN women's speech,” said Genc, as per the publication. “I just wrote to her to say how much it inspired me, and we have been lettering ever since.”
The speech Genc referred to is one Markle gave in 2015, where she said, "It is said that girls with dreams become women with vision. May we empower each other to carry out such vision – because it isn’t enough to simply talk about equality."
Genc got a hug from the Duke, who was not accompanied by his wife or son to the visit. Harry then played a voice message recorded on his phone from Meghan directed at the student.
In return, Genc gifted a soft dog toy to the Prince, a present meant for his 5-month-old son Archie.
“He said thank you and that he loved it," said the 14-year-old to the Telegraph. "He said he would love it because he hasn't been able to sleep because of Archie for the past few days.”
