Being in the public eye is difficult and no one is finding this more true than Meghan Markle. After her marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan has been the subject of endless tabloids and gossip sites; however, nothing has probably hurt as bad as the attacks that she is now getting from her own family.

Recently, Meghan’s half-brother, Thomas Markle, Jr., decided that it was time for him to speak up and give his two-cents about his sister and their family situation. Meghan and her brother do not have a good relationship and, from his comments, it’s easy to see why.

In an interview with Mirror, Thomas Markle, Jr. took it upon himself to call out Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles to help restore his relationship with his sister. He pointed out that Meghan’s mother would probably be cut out of her life soon, despite the fact that Meghan and she seem to have a strong bond.

Thomas Markle, Jr. has been known to smear Meghan’s name along with the help of Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha, and their own father. Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle, has shared her private letters to the press in the past, attempted to call out the Queen, and, according to The Daily Mail, staged paparazzi photos of himself to take the focus off her wedding.

It seems these people simply can’t get enough of the spotlight, even if it is accomplished at the expense of Meghan herself.

According to The Daily Mail,  even her sister has announced that it will be Meghan’s fault if their father dies. Thomas Markle, Jr. went on to claim that he loved and cared about Meghan before insisting that she reach out to repair the relationship and allow them into baby Archie’s life. He stated firmly that she “owed” her father that much.

In an earlier interview, Thomas Markle, Jr. was even begging for Prince Harry to cancel the royal wedding:
