Meghan Markle's Birthday: The Queen Has A ‘Huge Honour’ Planned For Her Birthday

The Duchess of Sussex will be celebrating her 38th birthday this weekend. This celebration should be special for the actress turned royal as it is her first birthday as a new mom. Her husband, Prince Harry along with Queen Elizabeth has some plans to make Meghan's birthday very memorable. 

A royal source told The Sun, “The Queen and Prince Philip adore the couple and, of course, their new great-grandson Archie, and they have invited them to Balmoral for a few days." Balmoral is a Scottish castle that Queen Elizabeth and other royals frequent. 

“It is testament to Meghan that she has been given this invite. It’s a huge honor," the source added.

The Queen will also be having her catering team bake a cake for the new Duchess along with inviting Meghan, Harry, and Archie to an afternoon of traditional tea. The source also said the Sussex's will be given their own wing at the Balmoral estate.

"It’s no secret Balmoral is Her Majesty’s favorite home and that’s why this invite is so special and heartfelt,” the source said. 

“Meghan may be a Duchess who can have anything she wants but the Queen is giving her a thoughtful present."

Prince Harry's gifts to Meghan have also been rumored to range from either jewelry to pieces of furniture for their new home at Frogmore Cottage. The royal source told Fabulous Digital as cited by The Sun, 

"Harry has a weakness for designing jewelry for Meghan, so it is expected that the royal will design another stunning piece - likely to be earrings - as a Sussex surprise.”
