Meghan Markle gave fans a charming glimpse into her life as a mother, sharing an endearing moment with her young daughter, Princess Lilibet. In a short video clip that appeared on the Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram account on May 25, 2025, the pair can be seen dressed in coordinating beekeeper outfits. The scene radiates warmth and togetherness as Meghan and Lilibet bond over their shared activity in what appears to be a peaceful outdoor setting.

Interestingly, Meghan, 43, isn’t the only member of the royal family who enjoys the art of beekeeping. Her sister-in-law, Princess Catherine, the Princess of Wales, is known for tending to her own hive at Anmer Hall, the Norfolk countryside residence she shares with Prince William and their children. To mark World Bee Day in 2023, Catherine’s office shared a delightful image of her gently tending to her bees, showcasing her quiet passion for nature and sustainability.

Queen Camilla is another royal with an affinity for bees. She keeps her own hives at Ray Mill House, her private home in the countryside. The honey produced by her bees is not just for personal use. It’s sold for a good cause at Fortnum & Mason, with proceeds going to charity.

In the heartwarming video shared online, Meghan, 43, was seen gently guiding her 3-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, toward a row of beehives. The two are adorably dressed in identical beekeeper outfits, giving fans a rare and intimate peek into their shared activity. 

The video is set to the upbeat tune “Sugar, Sugar” by The Archies, a playful musical touch that may be a sweet reference to Princess Lilibet’s older brother, 6-year-old Prince Archie. One charming detail that stood out? Lilibet’s cheerful rainbow-colored boots.

In her 2025 Netflix docuseries, “With Love, Meghan,” Meghan spoke openly about her interest in beekeeping, offering viewers deeper insight into this passion. In the very first episode, she was seen confidently tending to a live hive, showcasing both her knowledge and calm demeanor.

“I’ve got good vibes,” she shared during the segment as she carefully removed honey from the hive. She went on to explain her connection to the practice.

“It’s like also that little reminder to do something that scares you a little bit. I think that’s part of it, but I’m trying to stay in the calm of it. Because it’s beautiful to be this connected,” Meghan said.

Beyond just a hobby, Meghan’s love for honey has taken a commercial turn. Her lifestyle brand, As Ever, launched a limited edition ‘Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb’ that sold out rapidly. 

Demand for the product was so high that it unexpectedly oversold, prompting Meghan to send a personal apology to customers who were unable to obtain it.

In an email to customers, the Duchess wrote:

“Dear friend, My goodness, what a whirlwind this week has been! Thank you so much for the support. It really means so much to me.”
