Meghan Markle Posts Candid Snaps Of Archie & Lilibet While Filming & Their Stunning Red Hair Draws All Eyes

On Sept. 1, 2025, Meghan Markle offered fans a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, spending time on the set of her Netflix project.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, released the first public photos of Archie and Lilibet visiting the production of her show “With Love, Meghan.” The release followed shortly after the second season of the series officially launched on Aug. 26, 2025.

In an earlier conversation with PEOPLE, Meghan explained her decision to avoid filming inside the Sussexes’ own Montecito residence. Instead, she used a rental location nearby. The reasoning, she said, was to “protect that safe haven,” underscoring her desire to maintain a private and secure family environment.

Crew members recalled fondly how the children would often come to see their mother during filming. One member of the production team told PEOPLE: “She was super attentive and doting on them. We would give them headphones so they could listen to audio.” 

According to those present, the visits were filled with warmth, laughter, and a sense of family unity, even in the middle of a busy production schedule. For Meghan, the moments carried personal significance. She reflected on how meaningful it was to have her young children witness the project’s early days:

“I hope that when they get old enough, they feel really proud that they were part of the beginning of this with me.”

Posting on social media over the 2025 Labor Day weekend, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, captioned the collection of pictures:

“Filming season two of ‘With Love, Meghan’ was more fun than you can imagine. Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music.” 

She added: “Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation! Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy! Happy Labor Day weekend! Work hard, play hard 🎶.”

The slideshow began with an image of Meghan beside season two guest chef José Andrés, then transitioned to a series of sweet moments featuring Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, during their visits to the “With Love, Meghan” set.

One touching shot showed the siblings from behind, both sporting the signature red hair passed down from their dad, Prince Harry, as they shared headphones while watching a clip of Meghan on a monitor. Another captured Lilibet playfully twirling in a director’s chair, the family’s beagle at her feet, while Meghan’s longtime friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin, who has a role in both seasons, held open the door.

Harry himself made an appearance, joining Meghan and chef Clare Smyth, who catered the couple’s wedding reception, during the filming of Smyth’s episode. The carousel concluded with Archie holding a clapperboard mid-scene. 

“Archie did the (filming clapboard)! Sweet moments,” Meghan told PEOPLE as she reflected on that memory, adding, “They would also come with my husband and visit me on-set, and I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that and understand what Mama does and is working to create and share. It was really special because up until then, they hadn’t seen me at work.”
