The Sussexes have had a pretty busy summer: from guest-editing an issue of Vogue to launching a project to promote ‘sustainable tourism’, 4-month-old Archie hasn’t slowed his parents down one bit.
This Sunday, September 15, Prince Harry celebrated his 35th birthday. To mark his special day, Meghan took to Instagram to write a loving message to her husband along with a sweet collage featuring nine photos of the Prince throughout his life.
The post, which was shared yesterday on the official Sussex Royal Instagram account, read:
“Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day. You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you ❤️Happiest birthday!”

The loving message was accompanied by a collage featuring nine photos of the Prince from various ages. The first one showed the late Princess Diana holding Prince Harry as a baby.
The last photo, however, has caught the attention of many avid Royal fans, as it featured a previously-unseen photo of Archie at his Christening cradled by his mother Meghan.
Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton also took to Instagram on Sunday to wish Prince Harry a happy birthday. The post featured a photo of the two brothers smiling at one another at Prince Harry’s wedding last year and was captioned:
“Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duke of Sussex today! 🎂”
The Duke of Sussex has taken an alternative path to that of his brother William, who is second in line to the throne. Prince Harry has taken on a variety of charity projects with his wife and as of recent has become a fierce advocate in the fight against climate change.
Last year, Prince Harry revealed he would be taking up the role of Youth Ambassador in the British Commonwealth with his wife by his side, as per the Telegraph.
Earlier this month, the Sussexes took to Instagram to announce their first official trip following the birth of their son Archie. According to their post, the royal couple is due to complete a tour in Africa this fall.
“In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me,” The Duke wrote to express his excitement for the trip. “Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we’re so excited to share with you. On a personal note, I can’t wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We’ll see all of you very soon.”
We hope Prince Harry had a lovely 35th birthday! What do you think of this new photo of Archie? Let us know in the comments - and make sure you pass this along to your friends and family!
