Duchess Meghan is gearing up to become a published author, and she won’t be writing a book about her new life in the royal family. Instead, the former actor is letting her new role as a mother take the inspiration for her upcoming work. Markle is apparently planning on releasing a children’s book in the near future.
A royal source revealed to The Sun that Meghan is making plans to write her own’s children’s book, a job her new boy Archie is sure to love.
“The plans are in the very early stages and won’t be formally announced for some time. But she’s very excited about the possibility and is passionate about the idea of a work of fiction for children,” the source said.

The Duchess of Sussex is currently bouncing around possible topics for the book however one that seems to be her primary focus is her love of animals, especially her dogs. Meghan has been outspoken about her rescue dogs, she even wrote the foreword for Mayhew Animal Shelter Charity about the joy of adopting a pet. “It will undoubtedly change your life.” She wrote.
“She loves animals and her rescue dogs so it’s very likely they will be incorporated into the story,” the source continued. The children’s book news comes after Meghan’s recent guest-edit for the September issue of British Vogue.
For the issue, the recently turned 38-year-old featured what was described by the @sussexroyal Instagram account as “a diverse selection of women from all walks of life, each driving impact and raising the bar for equality, kindness, justice, and open-mindedness."
It seems nothing is slowing down this new mom and royal family member. We hope Archie will love his momma’s new book!
