Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Sparkle Under Umbrella As London Photo Speaks For Itself

After a long-awaited return to the United Kingdom, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally came back to London as a part of their final engagements as senior royals before they step down at the end of the month.

The couple sparkled as they shared an umbrella on their way to the Endeavor Fund Awards on Thursday night.

As a part of their last engagements as senior royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle both made brief remarks during the Endeavor Fund Awards on Thursday night at the Mansion House in London. The event is an annual awards ceremony is to recognize wounded servicemen and women as well as veterans for their achievements in rehabilitation. This was Meghan and Harry's first public appearance together since their move from the UK to Canada.

A clip of the awards event featuring Meghan sitting in the audience was posted to the couple's Instagram account. Meghan said at the awards ceremony:

“It's very nice to be back. It’s the third year that I’ve had the incredible fortune of joining my husband here.”

Prince Harry added in his own speech later:

"Being able to serve Queen and Country is something we all are rightly proud of, and it never leaves us."

Many said that the Sussex couple didn't need to say anything after the photo op outside. The widely popular photo shows the couple smiling at each other under the umbrella in the rain, which was lit-up in photographer Samir Hussein's flash.

The awards ceremony was just one of the couple's final engagements before they step down as senior royals. The official Megxit date is set for April 1st
