Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Sign Mega Hollywood Deal

Meghan Markle and her husband Harry have reportedly signed a massive deal with Netflix.
The couple, according to reports, has started their own production company with which they plan to make “content that informs but also gives hope” for the streaming company.

The production company, which is yet to have been named, will pay Meghan and Harry to produce documentaries, docu-series feature films, scripted shows, and children’s programming.
"Our lives, both independent of each other, and as a couple have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection,” reads a statement by the couple, according to the New York Times.

"Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope," they continued.
"As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us, as is powerful storytelling through a truthful and relatable lens."
The co-chief executive and chief content officer for Netflix, Ted Sarandos, addressed the news as well in his own statement, saying the company was “incredibly proud” Harry and Meghan had chosen to work with the streaming giant.
It is unclear how much they will be paid for their work. While Meghan has never worked as a producer, Harry gained a bit of experience while working with Oprah on The Oprah Conversation, a TV documentary series about mental health, back in 2019. The show has been airing on AppleTV+ since July this year.
The producing company still does not have a name and it isn’t immediately obvious what they will go for, seeing as “Royal” and “Sussex” are off the table, given negotiations with the Queen regarding the departure from their roles as senior royals earlier this year.
