Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, will not be returning to the UK alone – they will also be bringing along their 10-month-old son Archie. The couple were in attendance at last year's service, however, this will be their first public engagement since stepping back as senior royals in January.

The service, which is held at Westminster Abbey every year, is always attended by the Royal Family to commemorate the occasion. Commonwealth Day is an annual celebration observed by people all over the Commonwealth in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Americas, the Pacific, and Europe.

The Sunday Times reports that "The Queen has asked Harry and Meghan to join the rest of the royal family for the Commonwealth service at Westminster Abbey on March 9." Whilst the Palace has not given an official statement, it is believed they will be fulfilling their final royal duties before returning to Canada, where they have their residence on Vancouver Island.
