Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Break Silence On Coronavirus Pandemic – Urge Followers To “Show Compassion”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have broken their silence on the coronavirus pandemic.

Taking to their official Instagram profile on Wednesday, the couple called the outbreak of the virus  "As true a testament there is to the human spirit.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took to their Sussex Royal Instagram account this Wednesday to break their silence on the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Sussexes said humanity is now living in “uncertain times” and called on everyone to support one another “during a time that can honestly feel quite scary.”

"There are so many around the world who need support right now, who are working tirelessly to respond to this crisis behind the scenes, on the frontline, or at home,” their statement continues.

 “Our willingness, as a people, to step up in the face of what we are all experiencing with COVID-19 is awe-inspiring. This moment is as true a testament there is to the human spirit.”

The couple added that the situation is “uniting each of us globally” and highlighted the importance of kindness and compassion during these trying times.

The Duke and Duchess pledged they will be using their channels to publish reliable information on the pandemic as well as useful resources in the upcoming weeks. They also promised to share uplifting content concerning the outbreak.

“We are all in this together, and as a global community we can support each other through this process – and build a digital neighbourhood that feels safe for every one of us,” they added.

“We look forward to sharing more over the days and weeks to come..."
