There have been some tabloid reports of a rumored feud between the two women, such as in the Express. However, the last public appearance they had together at Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey showed an affectionate greeting, squashing gossip.

Sources tell Harpers Bazaar that Kate and William did visit Meghan and Harry at their home in Frogmore Cottage on Easter Sunday, soon after baby Archie was born. The source said the two wanted to “be supportive and see how she was doing,” adding, “It was a lovely afternoon.”

Kate had also made a statement to the press at the time of Archie’s birth, throwing her support behind Meghan:

"It’s such a special time and with Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays, it’s such a great time of the year to have a baby," she said to the press right after Archie was born. "And yes, spring’s in the air and everything so it’s pretty great. As William said, we look forward to meeting him and finding out what his name is going to be. So it’s really exciting for both of them. And I’m wishing them the best in these next few weeks. It’s always a bit daunting the first time around."
