Maybe God Is Making You Wait To Teach You A Lesson - There's No Timeline In Life

Jul 27, 2018 by apost team

Just because you aren’t where you think you should be at 20 or 30 or 40 doesn’t mean you aren’t supposed to be there. Maybe the reason is that God is showing you that you don’t have to live the way society dictates or that you don’t have to live the life your parents expect. Maybe there is a lesson to be learned here. It could be to get rid of all of your expectations, let go of the timelines you have set for yourself, and get rid of the notion that you should have everything accomplished by a certain age.

Maybe you aren’t in a relationship because God wants you to experience another kind of love, the kind that you give to family, friends, and yourself. He might want you to learn how to live without needing the constant reassurance and validation you have come to expect from a partner. Maybe God realizes that your journey should have some traveling and self-exploration in it before you become tied down to someone else. Maybe God is showing you that you should always walk before you try to run.

You may be learning that you have to keep trying over and over again. That is why you seem to be doing the same things again and again. He wants you to learn how not to give up and how to live with disappointments and setbacks. They will always happen.

God may be trying to teach you that life shouldn’t be taken so seriously. He probably wants you to realize that you shouldn’t always live by timelines, expiration dates, and deadlines. Maybe we have to accept that your lives are timeless and ageless.

We may learn that waiting is just another way of letting go. God could be giving you a sign to stop worrying about the things that will happen because better things are about to occur.

Maybe he doesn’t want to see you so obsessed with timing and the way that others see you. God may want you to throw away all of the fantasies and illusions you have set for yourself to start living in the now.

Maybe he wants you to keep waiting because the longer you wait, the more appreciative you will be for the things you get. The more you wait, the longer you will actually keep the things he will give you. God doesn’t want you to be an ungrateful individual! He wants you to enjoy the gifts that he does send you. He wants you to be ready to take care of them when you get them.

God probably wants you to find out for yourself that timelines are a man-made concept. They were developed by people who had fixed ideas. These people live in very different circumstances than you do! Plus, you will never even meet them or interact with them. Their timelines do not represent you at all.

Maybe God wants you to realize that no matter what you do, your life will never go the way you planned. But you have to love your life and Him no matter what.

Maybe he is making you wait in order to make you realize that he is in control of your life, not you. And that’s just fine.

What do you think? Why is God making you wait? Please pass this on with others who may need to hear this today!
