Margot Robbie Speaks To Deaf Fan In Sign Language In Heartwarming Interaction

This included taking money out from the house mortgage to lend to young Robbie when she needed it most. Robbie later recalled that she had vowed to pay her mother back when she was able and was happy when that day came.

"Everything I owed my mom, I had it written down. She'd take money out of the, like, house mortgage (to) lend me money. So I always knew, I was like, 'I gotta pay that back,'" Robbie told CBS Sunday Morning. "And then one day, when I made enough money, I just paid that whole mortgage off completely. I was like, 'Mom, don't even worry about that mortgage anymore. It doesn't even exist anymore,'"

Robbie didn't see her actions as anything extraordinary at all and said:

"Honestly, anyone in my position, you'd do that for your mom. Of course you would."

Robbie also confessed that she "kept the piece of paper" as it was "so satisfying at the end to know I'd paid it all back." 

Robbie's kindness and humility while on the set of the "Barbie" movie are also backed by her co-stars Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, and Michael Cera, as mentioned in an Access Hollywood interview.

Before "Barbie," Robbie also starred in a huge ensemble cast film called "Amsterdam," with John David Washington, Christian Bale, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Zoe Saldaña, Rami Malek, and even Taylor Swift. 

In stark contrast to "Barbie," the movie was much more grim and sullen as it was a period mystery comedy thriller film. It also performed poorly commercially despite the ensemble cast present. 

Notably, on one of the red carpet premieres for "Amstermdam," Robbie was captured in a heartwarming moment with a deaf fan. 

In a fan-captured video published by Margot Robbie GIFs on Twitter, Robbie was approached by a fan who was not seen in the video. 

Apparently, the man handed her the paper, which was a cheat sheet for sign language. 

"For me?" she asked before responding, "I know it!" She immediately handed the pen and paper to her assistant and proceeded to speak with her in sign language. 

A better angle of the interaction was also uploaded by the account, which shows Robbie's excellent sign language skills and enthusiasm while speaking to the deaf fan. 

"Nice to meet you," Robbie told the fan in the heartwarming encounter after going through the entire alphabet first. 

It was important to note that Robbie's sign language was not American but British, contrary to what many presumed it to be. Fans were delighted with the interaction between Robbie and a fan, pointing out that it proves how much of a great person she is.
