Marc Anthony Cries While Honoring Kobe Bryant In The Middle Of His Concert

Tributes have been pouring out from fans and friends alike for the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant who died in a helicopter crash just a few days ago. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna also perished in the crash along with 7 other passengers.

Singer Marc Anthony stopped his concert in Boston on Sunday evening in a silent tribute to Bryant, and broke down in tears on stage.

Marc Anthony's concert in Boston was scheduled for Sunday night, the night that the unfortunate helicopter accident happened, according to Remezcla. After hearing the news, the singer decided to have an interlude to the show to honor the basketball player.

A dedication flashed on the big screen behind him with a photograph of Kobe during a Lakers game, and got the crowd to start chanting "Kobe! Kobe!" The moment that made Anthony weep was when Kobe's "24" jersey was lifted in the air in homage.

The two celebrities have crossed paths before, and Anthony posted a photograph of the two of them shaking hands along with soccer player David Beckham at a basketball game. The Instagram caption read "Rest in peace my beautiful brother. May love and peace surround the families of all involved. Sooo sad. 💔"

The helicopter crash that carried the nine passengers is still being investigated according to Fox News.
