Mike Kesterman's kind gesture was caught on cameras that were hidden in the store. Kesterman made sure that these soldiers understood that many American's appreciate their loyal service to the country.

This random act of kindness took place at a gas station in the middle of Indiana. Kesterman performed this gesture without any expectation of reward.

Darlene Davis was working as a cashier when the good deed took place. She started recording the incident with her phone and eventually posted the video online. Davis knew that the moment was special and had to be seen by others.

The video has started to go viral online as more and more people are sharing this kind story.

WTHR 13 tracked down Kesterman for an interview after seeing the video. Kesterman remained humble about his actions and reported that he was only trying to show some appreciation to the soldiers.

In the interview, he encouraged others to show appreciation to our heroes as well. Kesterman commented that soldiers are putting their lives at risk every day to keep our country free and peaceful. This isn't something that should be overlooked.

While Kesterman may have seen his actions as small, there were 25 soldiers who felt differently. This gracious man from Indiana wasn't interested in their personal hangups. Instead, he simply wanted to show appreciation for their actions.

Soldiers are hungry people, and Kesterman ended up spending $148.

He clearly isn't missing a dime, because he felt the actions were justified. Watch his selfless act in the video below:

Kesterman sets a great example for all Americans. It is easy to forget how much the armed services are doing for the security and freedom of the United States. Buying snacks for soldiers may seem like a small act, but it means a lot to the young soldiers and every other person who sees the video. Don't forget to show this video to your friends and family to spread the message of kindness!
