Man Uses Old TV Box And Lawn Mower To Make The Most Resourceful Snow Plow We've Ever Seen

Most of us love playing in the snow, even as adults. However, it can make life a little more difficult when we are in charge of clearing our driveways and sidewalks. When the snow is really high, it can be downright back-breaking.

Sure, a snow blower or snow plow will be helpful after a huge snowstorm, but many people do not have the funds to buy a decent one or simply don’t have the space to store the equipment. Luckily, there are a ton of hacks to be found that will allow you to get the job done as quickly as possible.

We all have to get the snow off of our sidewalks and away from our homes one way or another. For someone with a long driveway, it can take hours if all you have to use is a shovel. Jonathan Schill realized that he was in a bit of a predicament when he moved into a new house in Pennsylvania.

He quickly came to the conclusion that a snow shovel was not going to be good enough for his driveway.

Schill decided that he was going to use a lawnmower to get rid of the snow. How, you may ask? When you see the plan he came up with, you will understand why the video has been shared over 231,000 times and counting!

Kaitlynn Toporzycki, his fiancée, posted the video on Facebook, where it soon took off. With some very creative thinking, Schill was able to use his regular lawn mower to move a whole lot of snow from his driveway, quickly and effectively.

Since the snowstorm happened right after Christmas, Schill found a heavy cardboard box that had once been home to a 50-inch television set. He was able to use his mower as a snow plow by attaching the box to the front of it. After it was securely attached to the mower, Schill used it to push all of the snow from his driveway as his fiancée recorded him.

Thousands of viewers have left positive comments on the post, saying that what he did was a really cool idea. We definitely have to agree! Watch the video for yourself and get ready to come up with your own idea - or just use his!
