Would you be scared if you came face to face with a shark? One man in Washington, D.C. was literally knocked off his feet by an interactive display featuring a shark. The footage of his reaction has been making the rounds online.

Sharks have a reputation for being scary, ferocious creatures. Thanks to the book and movie Jaws, many people have a fear of sharks, especially the great white shark. In reality, though, great white sharks don’t like eating people, even though they are the shark with the largest number of unprovoked fatal attacks on humans.

Sharks think humans are too bony to eat and like eating protein-rich seals instead. They typically bite things in order to identify what it is. Sharks have been held unsuccessfully in captivity because they don’t eat that much and become weak and listless in their captive state.

The International Spy Museum in D.C. has an exhibit called “Earth Redesigned” that features a virtual shark tank. It is part of their larger exhibit "Exquisitely Evil: 50 Years of Bond Villains."

The virtual shark tank has a warning sign that tells visitors to experience it at their own risk. The man in the video approached the virtual tank, and it seems a little uninteresting at first.

He tapped on the screen, causing a shark to appear and swim along the screens. Pretty harmless, right? But it's the second encounter that caused him to fall down.

Suddenly a giant shark appeared to swim right towards him with its mouth open wide. If you watch the video, you might jump yourself!
