Man Secretly Proposes To Girlfriend For An Entire Month Without Her Realizing It

Edi Okoro didn't want to give his girlfriend, Cally, an ordinary proposal. He knew that she needed something big. Something different. Something that he and his future wife, as he hoped, would be able to look back on years from now and smile about.

He had the ring. He just didn't have an idea for a proposal. Then he came up with a plan.

Armed with the ring and his phone, Edi began snapping photos. These were no ordinary pics. In each of them, Edi was holding the ring near Cally, unbeknownst to her. From the beach to lounging on the couch, the photos captured a variety of situations in which Cally didn't notice her boyfriend holding an engagement ring.

Edi even captured a picture of her asleep with the ring cradled in the palm of her hand!

When Edi finally proposed for real, Cally gave him a resounding yes! As to why Edi decided to get so creative with his proposal, he explained that he wanted to do something that represented who he and his now-fiancee are as a couple.

"I took the ring with me everywhere hoping the 'moment' would arise in line with my spontaneous style", Edi wrote on his Facebook. When that moment never arose, he hatched the plan to start capturing those missed opportunities. And if he got caught? Well, he'd just propose right then and there.

In his final photo, Edi captured the happy couple together, smiling into the camera. The engagement ring was finally on Cally's finger.
