Some songs are so iconic that almost everyone will want to join in on them once they hear them. This is exactly what happened in the case of a man who began singing Livin' On A Prayer, the hit song by Bon Jovi, while sitting on a park bench alone.

What happened next seems like something that you would see in a movie and it was all captured on video.

Livin' On A Prayer has been a hit since it was released as a single in 1986 by Bon Jovi. The song was featured on the album Slippery When Wet which was produced by Bruce Fairbairn. It quickly became a hit and is now a favorite for a host of different occasions such as road trips, dances, weddings, and karaoke nights with friends.

When the video that has been making its way across the different corners of the internet starts, you can see a man sitting on a park bench singing the opening lines of the song. He belts out

"We've got to hold on to what we've got. It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not. We've got each other and that's a lot for love. We'll give it a shot."

As the man continued singing, the crowd that had been milling around in the park minding their own business and doing their things began noticing his voice belting out the familiar lyrics. The camera begins panning out to capture them and you can watch many of them begin paying attention to where the song is coming from.

He got a few of the lyrics out before people began joining in. Before long, it seemed like almost everyone in the park that day was singing along and it echoed throughout the area. All of this was caught on video which offers proof that this is something that doesn't have to just happen in the movies.

The crowd's voice swelled with the lyrics of, "Woah! We're halfway there! Woah! Livin' on a prayer," and continued with "Take my hand; we'll make it, I swear. Woah! Livin' on a prayer." Bon Jovi's hit has a special way of bringing people together and this was a perfect example. For just a little bit, a man singing on a bench managed to bring a whole park full of people with a shared enjoyment of a hit song from decades past.
