A popular hair stylist kept noticing men with "man buns." A man bun is a hairstyle that is often considered by others to look silly or a bit pretentious.

This stylist did not care for the man bun hairstyle. One day while out and about, it seemed like half of the men he saw had a man bun hairdo.

This hair stylist went out to lunch. Of course, his waiter also had a man bun. The waiter's man bun may have been the straw that broke the camel's back. The hair stylist was a frequent guest on the Rachel Ray Show on television.

He asked the waiter if he would be interested in cutting his hair for a makeover to be featured on the show. The waiter was game, so they planned the event. What they did not do was tell the man's girlfriend that he planned on cutting off his luscious locks.

The man's girlfriend was in the audience during the show. She got a seat in the front row, giving her an optimal view to see her guy come onto the stage after the makeover was complete.

The man gave a brief interview beforehand, stating that he had not cut his hair in six years. She was thrilled with his new, shorter hairdo.

The rest of the audience was also in awe. While the man was good-looking with long hair, his new hairdo complemented his face in a better way. The show's audience, the man's girlfriend and the man himself were all pleased with the outcome of the new hairdo.
