Man Found His Dog “Depressed” After Grooming. The Security Footage Revealed The Reason

Pet lovers view the animals they own as much more than random creatures with no rights. They become beloved members of the family deserving of all the love and care afforded to other family members.

This fact does not prevent some people from harming animals. 

One dog, a Shih Tzu named Teo, was taken to get his hair done recently in Northern Colombia. Teo's owner trusted the establishment with his dog but when he returned he knew something was not right. He felt his dog was withdrawn and depressed.

Teo's owner took him to a veterinarian where it was determined the dog had been struck with a lot of force.

The dog's owner returned to the establishment demanding answers. A look at the surveillance camera showed an employee abused Teo while the dog was in the care of the establishment.

The blow delivered by the employee knocked the dog unconscious. The worker was fired after the video was viewed.

Many countries have developed laws to protect animals from the type of abuse suffered by Teo. Teo's abuser now faces the possibility of three years in jail and a fine of $15,000.

It is good to learn the legalities of animal abuse where you live so that you can act to protect an animal in danger if needed. You should also remember that not only pets are in danger from bad people. You should also watch for the safety of other animals who are part of your environment.
