You would be shocked at how many children out there go missing never to return home. In the luckiest of events, some of these kids will run into good people who help them out whole-heartedly. It’s disheartening to listen to stories where children go missing never to be found again. Thankfully, the world still has some good people who do things to make the harsh reality, lighter.

One man, from Nashville, narrated of a real-life event where he was going about his normal daily routine. This particular day he happened to be leaving his apartment in the company of his friends on May 7th to fetch breakfast. He spotted a new young face wandering around the building’s complex.

He couldn’t fathom why a toddler would be out all alone with no one in sight to keep watch. To the Nashville resident, it seemed a little too awkward with many questions. So, Reese, the name of this good Samaritan, saw it right to correct the situation and help the toddler of about three years old.

Together with his friends, Reese questioned the boy trying to find out if he knew where he lived. Luckily the toddler could understand and gather the answers to the query. The three-year-old pointed at the main gate of the complex leading to the rest of the apartments.

Reese immediately embarked on a mission to return the little boy home.

Unfortunately, the door to door knocking mission probing if anyone knew the boy didn’t bear any fruits. Reese and his friends sought to take care of the boy’s immediate needs such as food and clothing before bringing in the authority into the case.

The toddler slipped into some bottoms after Reese cleaned him up, and kept his feet warm in some socks. Next thing was the boy’s stomach, so Reese made his breakfast and fed him waffles to his fill. By the time the squad was done feeding and cleaning the toddler, the police arrived and took over the boy’s case.

Reese told the police that the child had learned how to unlock doors and explained how the toddler managed to get out alone. Luckily, the toddler found caring and compassionate people that protected him until he was taken back to his family safe and sound.

We don’t want to imagine what would have happened had he not found people with good hearts. Reese and his squad deserve more recognition for pulling out a noble gesture on this toddler. Wouldn't it be nice if more people knew him? Make sure to show this story to your loved ones!
