Man Finds Homes For Stranded Puppies On The Side Of The Road

As Andrei Matei was driving home after a visit to his girlfriend, he spotted something he simply couldn’t believe. It was a drive that he had done many other times, but this time something extraordinary occurred. Matei had to hit his brakes quickly in order to avoid an animal that came running across the road.

When he looked over to the side of the road, he saw that there were two more small animals running around. When he looked closer he realized that all of the animals were actually tiny puppies.

Matei immediately stopped the car and got out to check on them. As he walked over to the puppies, they began to jump at him happily. He told The Dodo that they probably had no idea just how close they had come to being hit by a car in the road.

The wonderful driver decided to take the puppies to his car. While he knew that he couldn’t just leave them, he also was not sure what he was going to do with them all. He decided that his best course of action would be to post on Facebook for advice.

A friend quickly recommended that Matei call his neighbor, Aura Vasile. Aura has a lot of experience with dogs, and his friend believed that she could help. So that was just what Matei did. He called Vasile up and the two agreed to meet up at the local vet’s office.

When they arrived, the vet did a thorough check-up of the little puppies. He believed that they were only four or five weeks old. While they did have fleas, the puppies were otherwise in good health. The vet believed that their former owner likely abandoned them on the side of the road.

However, the puppies were still happy and excited to give everyone they met lots of kisses! Vasile took the three puppies back home after the check-up was over. She knew that she could find loving homes for the adorable pups once they were ready.

She turned out to be right—Matei said that all of the puppies now live in their forever homes and are safe and happy.
