Man Engages In Game Of Catch With Orangutan In Bali Zoo

We often underestimate intelligence when it comes to animals. We believe that we are absolutely the smartest creatures in the world, and we are shocked when we see an animal show off how amazing they really can be.

A man named Vitaly R was visiting the Bali Zoo in Indonesia a few years back. He wasn't expecting to actually play games with one of the primates, but that's what happened. 

The zoo is home to many wonderful animals. Visitors will find saltwater crocodiles and African lions when they visit, among other animals they rarely get to see. However, many visitors love to come and see the hilarious antics of the resident orangutans. Vitaly decided that he was going to check them out when he visited and ended up in a game of catch as reported here by the Animal Channel.

It looks like the animal plans to fire the banana like a missile, but then he gently tosses it back to the man. Everyone around starts to smile.

With more than 26 million views on YouTube, Vitaly’s adorable interaction is definitely a viral video we all love. So many comments cheered on the cute orangutan and commented on his social skills.
