One 72-year-old man thought he was going nuts after things began moving in his shed a month ago. Stephen McKears, a retired electrician, began noticing that plastic clips would appear in an old ice cream tub. Little did he know that there was an unexpected culprit behind the strange rearrangement of objects in his shed.

The old ice cream tub was usually filled with peanuts for the birds. Now, the tub was filled with plastic clips.

The man thought he was going insane as he cleaned the tub each night throwing out all bolts and nuts on the table only to discover that they were gone in the morning.

After a couple of weeks of finding all little pieces in his shed filed away, the shed owner decided to put a camera and see what was happening.

To his surprise, the mystery cleaner was none other than a common household mouse.

The camera revealed the small creature cleaning up the thrown bolts and nuts from the table back into the ice-cream tub.

The industrious mouse was working quickly to put everything back in place. Occasionally, it would find limits to its strength in the face of bigger objects but would move everything that it could.

Night after night, the mouse had been doing this tedious work. When wondering about why he might be doing this hard and seemingly useless work, the owner of the shed supposed that he might be covering the peanuts inside the tub. This way, he was claiming them as his own and hiding them from anyone else.

The mouse is up for some good news. Because he was the star of the unexpected story and worked so hard to put everything back together, the owners of his home decided to let him stay as long as he did not cause any other trouble.

Do you agree that the mouse did all the work for the peanuts? What would you do in the case of such an industrious mouse on your territory? Let us know in the comments and pass this along to your friends and family to brighten their day!
