Man Decides To Move Into Lonely Shelter Dog's Kennel And Refuses To Leave Until She's Adopted

Many shelters do what they can to find homes for their animals. Some bring in professional photographers to take pictures for social media. Others take the animals out to local pet stores to show them off. There is no end when it comes to what shelters will do to make sure every animal finds a home.

Unfortunately, some animals seem to have a harder time finding their forever homes than others. This was the case for Queen, a 3-year-old terrier mix who was having a lot of difficulty in finding a home and family who would take her in and give her the life that she deserved. That is until a wonderful man stepped in to help.

Queen had been found in a dumpster in Kansas. She was taken to the Great Plains SPCA and has been looking for her forever home ever since.

Scott Poore is from Mission Driven Goods. Scott does everything that he can to help neglected and homeless animals. When he heard about Queen and how hard it has been for her to find a good home, he knew that he had to step in and help.

Scott was shocked when he first met Queen. That is because he expected the dog to have some unfavorable characteristics that may have kept her from being adopted. Instead, he said that she is extremely sweet and affectionate. He stated that she is friendly, gentle, and has tons of energy. He has vowed that he will do whatever he has to in order to find her the best family. He stated that he refuses to let her lose hope.

Queen has won the title of "longest-running resident" after staying at the shelter for 400 days. After Scott decided to take charge, he saw the demeanor of the little dog change in a positive way. That is because he has become an internet sensation almost overnight due to the fact that he decided to move in with the dog.

That's right- Scott moved right into her 10-by-7 kennel. He hopes that this will help Queen get the attention she deserves so that she will be adopted by a loving family. You can watch the video below to learn more:
