Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you are minding your own business when something terrible happened?
That's exactly what occurred in Cordoba, Argentina when a man went for his daily bike ride off road.
Like any other day, the man mounted his trusted bike, fastened his helmet and began his typical off-road journey that he regularly takes. Along the ride, nothing seemed out of the ordinary until the man noticed something unusual off in the distance.
At first, the object only appeared to be a small spec. As he began to move forward, the object started to take on a black and white appearance. It was only until the man was within one-hundred feet did he realize that it was a small animal.

The rider decided to slow down and fixate his phone on the approaching object. When he was within fifty-feet, he realized that this was no ordinary animal; it was a small puppy.
The puppy runs towards him, tail wagging, in delight as he was all alone on the dirt road with no one to defend him. As the man nears the puppy, the dog begins to whimper and cry out as if he was desperately waiting for someone to show themselves on this abandon stretch of road.
The man begins to pan his camera phone around the surrounding area to reveal that much of the terrain is sparsely-populated and rugged in nature. If it weren't for this man riding his bike that day, the dog may have succumb to their surroundings, or worse, be eaten by a scavenger or hungry predator.
Once off the bike, the man quickly notices how panicked and desperate this dog is for a loving hand and protection from the environment. The puppy begins to jump, cry and paw at the rider as if to say "please take me home and protect me."
The man, being an athlete and dog lover, quickly picks up the pup and films himself riding along the stretch of road off into a safer place.
Clutched in the rider's hand is the small puppy, now smiling from ear to ear. It's almost as if the puppy knows that he is being rescued and can no longer contain his happiness and joy. Do you think you would have done the same? Or would you have left the puppy to fend for itself? Let us know in the comments and make sure to pass this along to your friends and family!
