How many of us have watched the hit show, “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo,” and wanted to immediately clear out our homes? Many of us have jumped on the bandwagon of cleaning up, organizing, and donating, which is the premise of the Netflix show.

While we may not love the actual heavy work of cleaning, it does feel great to get rid of all of the clutter in our homes. It is also a great way to reduce anxiety and stress. There are a lot of reasons why cleaning is actually good for us.

Stephen Mckears may or may not have heard of Marie Kondo, but we are pretty sure he wasn’t using any of her methods in his outdoor shed. Most sheds have a lot of different items inside of them, and we are all guilty of leaving things in the wrong spots when we are done.

Stephen began to notice that little things were starting to move after he put them back in his shed. Clips, nails, and screws were not always in the same place that he left them. While he knew he hadn’t put them away, he couldn’t believe that he would later find them neatly organized and back where they belonged. It was definitely a phenomenon he couldn’t quite solve!

Was he losing his mind? Was his memory becoming worse as the days went by? Was it a ghost who couldn’t stand untidiness? He had no idea what to think.

He even decided to test the unknown culprit by purposely dumping things out of one of his plastic bins and scattering them around the shed. He couldn’t believe it when they were all back in place the next day!

"I thought I was going mad," he told The Daily Mail.

He knew that he had to get to the bottom of the mystery, so he asked his neighbor, Rodney Holbrook, to set up a camera in the shed. What he caught on camera was a shock! No, it wasn’t a ghost. It was simply a mouse who is apparently a neat-freak!

For a couple of hours during the night, the mouse would come out and put away whatever mess Stephen had left behind. They couldn’t believe that a mouse would have such human characteristics to really care about untidiness, but here he was!
