Man At Park With Empty Stroller Thinks No One Is Watching But Jogger Snaps Photo Revealing Truth

Most people are used to seeing a mother pushing a stroller at the park, and most often a baby is inside. No one ever gives this a second thought. So what would happen if you came across a stroller that was empty, with a man looking inside? This was the case for Doug Delony, who was out for a jog one day in Houston’s Discovery Green Park.

He saw an empty baby stroller with a man standing over it and jogged over for a quick look.

The man's actions caught Doug’s attention quickly.

He took a picture of the scene and posted it to Facebook, where it quickly went viral. However, you probably won’t expect why the picture became so popular.

The man who owns the stroller lives near the park. His name is Troy Griffin and he owns a disabled Sheltie named Max who is unable to walk by himself due to severe arthritis. Because of this, Troy makes sure to push him in the stroller through the park in lieu of a walk. He carries him to the grass and lets him take in his surroundings.

In the picture, Troy is letting his dog drink water from a small cup. Troy doesn’t want his dog to miss out on any fun because of his arthritis. So he gives Max, his canine friend, rides in a stroller. Max just loves the time spent outside!

Edie Mayo is Troy’s wife. She told the news that they have had Max since he was just 3 weeks old. He is now 16-years-old and they say they don’t know what they would ever do without him.

According to Edie, Max was even able to warn them about a tornado that was headed their way at their old home. What a keeper! Unfortunately, Max is blind in one of his eyes and has a cataract in the other. This is all the more reason for his owners to set him in the stroller for daily walks.

He is part of the family for sure.
