Man Arranges A Nude Mannequin Party In His Yard To Get Back At Nosy Neighbor

To get back at his neighbor for making a complaint about his fence, Santa Rosa, California man Jason Windus displayed naked mannequins in his yard back in 2019.

When something unfortunate happens to us, we often feel hurt, betrayed, or maybe even desire revenge. While giving forgiveness is easy, revenge can be sweet, especially if you have earned it. Good old feuds and rivalries happen all the time. We are in no way condoning taking revenge on anyone, but we do love harmless and creative revenge stories. Jason Windus and his neighbors live in California. In his neighborhood, there are not any regulations on the height of backyard fences. As reported by People, Windus had put up a tall fence, which raised concerns in his neighbor who thought it was a safety hazard.

Of course, Windus had a perfectly reasonable explanation for putting up such a tall fence. He wanted to keep his dogs in his yard, and this was fine considering it was his backyard. His neighbor created such a big deal out of it and Windus could not understand why it mattered so much.

Eventually, his neighbor sent a complaint to the city, claiming that it caused visibility issues, according to People. Windus was then given two very irritating choices: to reduce the height of the fence or pay a large fine every day that the fence was still tall.

These choices were not optimal, yet Windus decided to perform the less expensive option. He trimmed the fence's height to three feet, the exact height that was allowed. While he had done this, he also decided to take revenge against his neighbor for reporting him in the first place. In this case, revenge was a dish best served nude.

Since his neighbor now had complete visibility to Windus' backyard, he decided to place several nude mannequins around his yard as if they were having a small gathering, according to People. Windus was the owner of a moving company, and because of his position, he had gathered plenty of mannequins over the years. His original intention was to use them for target practice, but this ides was not too bad either.

Windus claimed that he did not know exactly which neighbor it was and if they would even come clean about reporting him. He hoped that this would discourage that nosy neighbor from looking into Windus' backyard ever again. In between the party of nude mannequins, he placed a sign stating that one seat was being reserved for the neighbor who had complained about his fence.

While any reasonable person would have become angry over the complaint, Windus approached the situation differently and thus, avoided a lot of conflicts. Of course, his solution was very creative as well.

While his neighbor's problem was not being able to see past Windus' backyard, we are not sure if his neighbor wants to see the backyard anymore. Windus claims that since the neighbor wanted him to shorten his fences, he is now making this complaint worthwhile.

The "naked mannequin party" is going viral across the Internet, gaining views from prank lovers everywhere. Windus received a request from the city one day to tear down his massive fences around his yard or pay a fine each day that they were still up.

His neighbor had complained about it being a safety hazard, and thus Windus decided to take revenge. After shortening his fences, he set up a "naked mannequin party" in his yard to get back at his neighbor for being so nosy.
