Malnourished Husky Was Just Skin And Bones - 10 Months Later She's Gone Through A Miraculous Change

A boy named Rico Soegiarto found a terribly ill and malnourished dog and nursed her back to health. She's completely unrecognizable now!

You'd never know that the dog is the same one in the photos. It's common to see dogs in terrible conditions in Bali. The government is constantly fighting to keep the dog population under control and make sure rabies outbreaks are kept to a minimum.

Soegiarto saw something special in the dog. He stated in an interview that he wasn't sure exactly what was special about it. He just connected on an emotional level, and he decided on the spot that he would help the dog get a second chance.

When Soegiarto brought the husky home, she was losing clumps of fur and having trouble standing. Soegiarto took her in and groomed her, brought her to the vet, and gave her a healthier diet. The vet treated the wounds and gave Soegiarto advice on what the dog should be eating.

Eleven months have passed since Soegiarto rescued the dog. All of her wounds are gone. She loves snuggling with Soegiarto, who she seems to consider her personal savior. This dog finally has the life she's deserved from the beginning.

Now, the husky is safe and strong and found her forever family in Soegiarto... and four new dog siblings!

The transformation photos have been going viral. Soegiarto says the dog's name is Hope. He gave her hope, and she gave him hope on a dark-seeming day.
