Malia Obama Spends Christmas Holidays At $2.3M London Home Of British Boyfriend

Former President and first lady Barack and Michelle Obama's eldest daughter Malia spent the holidays with her long-time British beau, Rory Farquharson. Malia was seen at Rory's parents' home in London which cost £1.8 million($2.3 million) over the Christmas holiday. 

Sources told the Mail Online how Malia and Rory had been spotted walking around North London with a group of friends. "They were keeping a low profile but looked really happy and relaxed together," the onlooker told the tabloid. "They were dressed down – Malia was in wide-leg white pants with a black jacket and had her hair down with no make-up. Rory was in a khaki coat and loose jeans."

Before jetting off to spend time with Rory and his family in the U.K., Malia reportedly spent Christmas time with her parents and younger sister. Rory's father is a chief executive at a U.K investment firm and his mother is an account, the family also maintains royal connections. 

The couple was first linked two years ago when they were spotted at a Harvard football game kissing near the parking lot. Rory is also a Harvard student who is reported to be studying something finance related. 

In addition to coming from a well-known family and studying law at Harvard, Rory has a history of making good grades and being athletic. He was one of the top students at Rugby School in the U.K. where he was a member of the chemistry club and played both golf and rugby. Those who know him say Rory is a good guy who's nice to everyone he meets. 

"I always saw potential in him", a former female classmate of his told The Tap. "I used to be obsessed with him at school".

Since being spotted at the Harvard game, the couple has been seen out in various locations from the U.K to the U.S. They frequent coffee shops, festivals, and spend a lot of time visiting New York City and London. Since Rory is originally from the U.K., it's important for the former rugby player to visit his family often.
