Malia Obama Seen On A Brunch Date With British Beau Rory Farquharson At A Luxury Ojai Hotel

Barack and Michelle Obama’s eldest daughter Malia was spotted at brunch with her boyfriend and other guests who are believed to be his family members at the Ojai Valley Inn in California.

Malia and Rory, both 21, met while students at Harvard and have been seen together as a couple in public since 2017. The Daily Mail reports Rory is a British national whose father is Charles Farquharson, the chief executive of Insight Investment Management Ltd.

The pair recently had a sunny brunch with two men and a woman in Ojai. Sources told The Daily Mail that one of the men looked just like Rory and was probably his brother. Since Malia hugged the older man, the source assumed that was Rory’s dad. But Malia was introduced to the woman so it’s unclear of who she is.

The source who was a diner present at the restaurant was also amazed at the lack of security detail.

“I thought: 'Wow, this is the President's daughter, shouldn't there be security all around?” they told The Daily Mail. “But there wasn't. In fact, she walked in by herself.”

They also said that Malia was happy to speak with a couple who came up to talk with her.

The Tab reports that Rory is quite a catch, and his classmates in school all thought he was a good guy. He also played golf and rugby, and currently studies law. It sounds like he’s a great match for Malia, and since they’ve been dating for two years, Barack and Michelle must approve!
