Maddie Poppe's case is no different—she dazzled audiences with her rendition of "God Only Knows" and has been bringing tears to the eyes of audience members and judges throughout this entire competition.

Her unique voice allows her to emote heavily into the words she sings and her distinct vibrato can make her phrasing tremble with honesty.
 

This is why the audience was absolutely shocked when she went into her version of "I Told You So" by Carrie Underwood. Playing guitar and singing at the same time, Poppe uses this to her advantage, commanding such control over the instrument it's almost like it's an extra part of her voice. Her stage presence is also so powerful!
