We were all extremely excited when we heard that Brooks & Dunn and Luke Combs would be performing at the 54th Annual ACM Awards.

However, after it was revealed that they would actually be performing together, our excitement levels hit the roof. We don’t think we could put together a better combination if we tried!

The ACM Awards are well-known for their amazing lineups. If you are a fan of the show, then you have seen some really epic performances so far. You may have seen Kelly Clarkson and Dan + Shay, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, or Ashley McBryde and Erich Church.

However, that is just a few of the show-stopping duets the awards show have put on. They really know how to keep the audience enthralled.

The ACM Awards also announced to the world that they were going to bring back a segment known as ACM Flashbacks, a part of the show that used to be a huge hit with the audience. During the 2018 awards show, Reba McEntire came out in her famous red dress that she wore in the 90s to join Kelly Clarkson for a duet.

Luke Coms and Brooks & Dunn decided to team up to do a duet this year, as did Miranda Lambert and George Strait. The duet of Brooks & Dunn and Luke Combs makes a lot of sense to us since Combs recently joined up with the duo to work on their new album Reboot.

The trio got on stage to sing the hit from 1991 known as “Brand New Man.” The audience jumped to their feet almost immediately after they started to sing the hit song. After just a few words, the audience began to sing along with them. We all felt like we were back together in the 90s when we heard it. What a great song!

Combs also performed another song earlier in the awards show. He decided to trade in his suit for the fishing shirt that has become his trademark look. He also had his red solo cup with him!

While there were so many amazing performances during the awards show, this was one of the best. Check it out for yourself to see why everyone is talking about it:
