A ticketholder (or perhaps a group) in the United Kingdom recently came forward to claim the biggest lottery winnings in the history of the nation. The EuroMillions jackpot recently hit £170 million ($213 million), making the winner richer than many sports and entertainment stars. The winner’s lucky numbers were 07, 10, 15, 44, 49 with lucky stars 03 and 12.

News of the winning ticket was confirmed by the National Lottery on their official Twitter page. Andy Carter, who works as senior winners’ advisor to the National Lottery, said to The Telegraph that he looks forward to helping the winner claim their newfound fortune, once again pointing out that he or she is the biggest winner in the country’s history.

Carter also said that all National Lottery games, including EuroMillions, help social causes in the United Kingdom. Among those social causes are small things, such as community projects, and big things, like sponsoring the nation’s athletes. Carter says that on average, the National Lottery raises about £30 million each week for these causes.

Carter said that last June’s winner was also a record-breaker at the time, having won £123 million. The winners of the New Year’s Day draw, Patrick and Frances Connolly of Northern Ireland, won £114.9 million in EuroMillions.
