Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani has spoken out about how Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli's daughters could be prosecuted in the college admissions scandal. This news comes as another charge is tacked onto to Loughlin and Giannulli's case.

U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling who is the main prosecutor in the College Admissions Scandal has already confirmed to to WCVB Channel 5 Boston News that he will ask for a harsher punishment for Lori Loughlin than Felicity Huffman.

Huffman was also charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud. However, her 'guilty' plea was exchanged for low jail time and no further charges being brought against her. Huffman was only sentenced to 14 days in prison, fined $30,000, and asked to complete 250 hours of community service.

Court filings show Loughlin is pleading 'not guilty' to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Prosecutors claim Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli paid half a million dollars to a fake charity to have their two daughters accepted into the University of Southern California. The daughters were positioned to look like crew recruits even though both of them have never rowed.

Legal expert and former prosecutor Neama Rahmani told People, At a minimum, the daughters will be witnesses in a trial against their parents, but they could also be charged as defendants. The government has made it clear that they are going to keep increasing pressure on both Lori and Mossimo."

The federal prosecutor also added, “By not pleading, Lori and Mossimo are exposing their children to being charged.”

Recently, the couple was hit with another conspiracy charge according to a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice. The release said Loughlin and her husband along with nine other defendants, "conspired to commit federal program bribery by bribing employees of the University of Southern California (USC) to facilitate their children’s admission."
