Aunt Becky from our childhoods watching “Full House” has definitely changed. The actress Lori Loughlin who played Becky Donaldson-Katsopolis on the show and then again on “Fuller House,” had made a career on family-friendly entertainment. Apart from these TV hits, Loughlin was also featured on Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart” and several of their TV movies. However, she’s now more known for her part in the admissions bribery scandal.

Even though she is accused of paying thousands of dollars in bribes to get her daughters into university, she didn’t feel that worried about it. ET reported a few weeks ago on May 13 that a source said, “While the fact she could serve time never leaves her mind, she strongly believes she doesn’t deserve to.

However, now that seems to have changed. E! News reported on the about-face from an insider source that said, "Lori is finally realizing just how serious this is," says the source, noting the former child model is beating herself up for not accepting the initial deal. "She is seeing the light that she will do jail time and is freaking out."

There have been a lot of changes to Lori’s lifestyle since the whole scandal began, so maybe the magnitude of the situation is all beginning to sink in. Lori has been dropped from several of her acting projects including “Fuller House” and the Hallmark channel movies, reports TMZ. She is also apparently on the rocks with her husband, a source told E!.

But amid the downturn in her life, some friends are still standing by her. Co-stars Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner on “Full House”) spoke at the Kids’ Choice Awards in March and said,

"Where there's a lot of heart, there's a lot of love—and a loving family sticks together no matter what," E! reported, "They stick together through the hard times, they support each other, they encourage one another, they pray for each other, and they stand by their side no matter how tough it gets."

Although the sentiments of her friends are probably comforting to a person who’s in a lot of trouble like Loughlin, it still doesn’t change the fact that she is facing up to 20 years of jail time. E! Reports that on Tuesday, she and her husband were charged with additional crimes in addition to the conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud that were already announced. She and her husband, fashion designer Massimo Giannulli are now each charged with conspiring to commit fraud and money laundering too.
